This campground was pretty disappointing. While the views were nice, the facilities were not great. In addition to the washing machines being broken, the water spigot near the tent campsites didn’t work, so I had to lug our heavy water container across the entire facility. The bathrooms were just portapotties, though they were well-maintained and clean. As other reviews have noted, there were loud power washing noises late into the night—until about 11:30 p.m.—and not even ear plugs could fully drown them out. Not exactly what you’re looking for when you’re trying to camp. In the morning, the staff decided to move our camping chairs and put a sprinkler in the middle of our site, nevermind that we were still present at the grounds and had been trying to sit there during the morning. For $34 per night, I was expecting better (or more accurately, I was expecting the amenities advertised and for there not to be loud undisclosed noises late in the night at a purported “campsite”). I would recommend finding another campsite. If you were choosing this for the proximity to the Yellowstone Hot Springs, I’ll also share that those were also relatively overrated if you’re looking for a relaxing experience—lots of kids being loud and splashing. (Though we went during a weekday, not at night.) It was more like a public pool that happened to be hot.

I was on tour for more than 7 months in the U.S. and had a reservation on this campsite. But this Campground was this with the worst price-/performance-ration. In the high season I paid USD 80.- per night without water and electricity. 3 of 4 showers were broken. The toilets dirty. And the hot springs beside cost separate. I cannot recommend this unkempt place.

We liked the campground. Our spot was spot E and difficult to back our 37 ft 5th wheel into, because it had trees lining either side, but thankfully we got in. It was kind of loud at night with all the guests leaving the Yellowstone Hot Springs late. In addition it's close to a busy road, so you hear some trucks driving at night. Other than that we didn't have any other issues.

This is a great campground. Our 45ft class A and trailer fit perfectly in the back in spot. We were on electric only. Dump and fill station was easy to get to and easy to use. Francis was very nice and helpful! I would stay here. Also 7 mins to Gardiner and 15 to Yellowstone. Great spot.

We stayed here one night in our RV with a last minute booking. Everyone was so nice and accommodating. The pools are AMAZING. The views are wonderful. The morning we scheduled to leave our slide out malfunctioned and the staff went above and beyond to help us. Luckily we got it working and only had to stay 30 min past checkout time but we really felt taken care of. 100% would stay here again. Thank you to everyone at YSHSR!

Great location along the river outside of Yellowstone. The pool area is amazing, and you get a discount as a guest. The $15 dollars for the pool a day is worth it also for the better bathroom and shower compared the ones with the campground. Laundry is quarters only, so bring change. The RV dump area is very convenient and well placed next to the electric sites.

Great spot for camping/RV. Hot springs are $12/ person if you are staying overnight, $18/person if not. Definitely suggest checking them out, 3 different temperatures and not crowded. Gorgeous views

If you were only judging this campground based on location, I would highly recommend. However, EVERYTHING else about this campground left a lot to be desired. Campground staff was unfriendly and unprofessional. We had multiple run ins with them were they aggressive in their communication, and many of the women in our group felt very uncomfortable. They powerwash the hotsprings Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 11pm to 2am, and the camp staff will repeatedly rev the engine of their little bike throughout the night as well. There was a sewage alarm that went off at least once a night, and would not turn off until someone gets out of their tent and turns it off. The smell of sewage was also a turn off.

There have to be better campsites to stay at…
