Yair and his team did a good job at demolishing our backyard and putting in the artificial turf however we had 3 issues that are very frustrating.

1. Yair said he would cover our pool when demolishing. I was thinking a large tarp properly pinned down. Yet, he put down a thin plastic sheet with some rocks holding it down a few corners. One of the days was quite windy and the sheet blew over and all the dirt flew into our pool. We tried to have him own this, he would not clean it up and said it wasn’t his problem. Yair and his team own this site from demo to completion so to say he isn’t going to handle the cleanup of our pool is ridiculous. We had our pool guy do it and paid him a little extra but this wasn’t our pool guy’s responsibility, it was Yairs.

2. We had a pool fence that was specifically designed to our backyard which I mentioned multiple times to Yair and team. And when coming down to installing, no measurements were taken and it was Mickey- Moused put back together with the gate all flimsy. Yair didn’t care and said was that gate was temporary. I understand its temporary but we paid over 1000 for that pool gate to be installed and now it is just useless.

3. In Yairs SOW, he was supposed to install drip irrigation and connect it to our sprinkler system which he said he did but it is not working. I tried calling him, no answer, texting, and he gives me bogus responses. He provides a one year workmanship but obviously doesn’t honor it. Now we are having to call our handyman out to fix it which will cost us another few hundred.

I would not recommend Yair to anyone, all he cares about is taking your money but not doing the right thing as a business owner.

I’m so glad we came across Yair and his crew at Westerfield Landscapes! We worked with a designer for a big backyard renovation, and were able to hand the design over to Yair and he made it happen! He was incredibly helpful, responsive, and had great ideas along the way to help us not only save money, but also have a better end product.

They helped us with: demolition, soil amendments and grading, irrigation, weed barriers, gravel garden beds, a sealed DG area, extending our cement driveway into a patio, drainage, Painting, decking, a wooden pergola with fabric cover, new sod, low voltage lighting, and plant + tree installation.

Yair was super transparent all along the way, very communicative, and responsive. They even went above and beyond, installing our leftover sod at my in-laws’ home nearby.
