Such an interesting thing to see in person! Parking is difficult to find since everything to see is concentrated into a single area. Free parking is available only for 2 hours. The hill is very steep but not hard.

In a mostly urban national park, this is the neatest natural feature--a series of cascading geothermal waterfalls. There is a pool at the bottom in which you can dip your feet. Beautiful park setting along the Grand Promenade.

Well maintained trails for some light hiking. Not too many views, but still quite pleasant. Can easily be out on them several hours if interested. The observation tower is at the top, but at 15 bucks a head we skipped and have no regrets.

This is a full demonstration of the natural hot springs water that wells up from deep within the mountain. It's literally pouring down the mountain steaming hot. During the winter, the steam can be intense. It's interesting to see how the water comes out of the mountain to feel this fountain.
