Just moved to the area and wanted to find a great florist. I came across the Purple Lotus Flower Shop and decided to give them a chance.

They put together a gorgeous bouquet of roses and assorted flowers for my wife and had it ready within a few hours for pickup.

My wife absolutely loved the floral arrangement and hand written card. We will definitely be coming back for future orders.

Not sure how to react to the way my online order for same-day delivery was handled...the orchid delivered looks nothing like the "Zen" item I ordered. I really would have appreciated a phone call about the need to substitute such a basic plant before assuming that's what I would accept. But check the box, it was delivered quickly.

I called Purple Lotus and spoke with Jamie the owner. She helped me out with a last minute corsage for a father/daughter dance. I explained what the color of the dress was, and Jamie handled the rest, matching the colors perfectly! My daughter was so happy! Excellent customer service and a fantastic product! Will return!

I called twice prior to ordering. I left a message with my contact info so that I could verify that they could make what I wanted to order for my daughter’s birthday. I never received a return call.
I ordered online anyway. Big mistake! I ordered the deluxe size of the photo on the left. It was supposed to have orange roses, mini red carnations, yellow mums and purple statice in a birthday vase with colorful ribbons. Instead my daughter received the flowers on the right side, filled with alstroemeria and green leaves- no sign of orange roses or a beautiful neat cheerful arrangement. I paid $74.95 for this, plus the online fee, processing fee and delivery fees for a total of $100.83.
Needless to say I am very disappointed and will not make this mistake again!

I ordered an arrangement for my 95-year-old mom for Mothers’ Day. The arrangement was on the Purple Lotus website. It consisted of a variety of flowers and colors-lillies, roses, and others in a basket. There were 3 sizes and I chose the middle one, for 59.99. I received a confirmation e-mail affirming that the flowers would be delivered on Mothers’ Day, as I requested. They were delivered on Mothers’ Day- at 10:00 at night-Mothers’ Day was almost over, and mom was already in bed!! She lives in an assisted living facility’s, and thankfully, an aide that works with her was still in her apartment and was able to meet the delivery driver at the door of the facility to get the flowers. Mom’s not mobil and would not have been able to get them herself. And when she got the flowers…they were nothing like what I had ordered and paid for!! All mums (one of the cheapest flowers, when I paid for lillies and roses), all one color, and in a sloppy arrangement, different heights-the only resemblance to what I ordered was the basket they came in!! When I called the Purple Lotus the next day to tell them what happened, the receptionist told me the owner would give me a 20% refund-that was not sufficient for me, so she told me to send pictures for the owner to see and she would contact me. I sent the pictures immediately. When I didn’t hear from the owner the following day, I called and discussed the situation. She was defensive and made excuses for why I received a far inferior item, worth less than I paid for, and actually defended delivering flowers at 10:00 at night to an elderly woman who had waited all day for the flowers! And then the nerve to deliver an item of that quality! She hadn’t looked at the pictures yet and told me she wouldn’t give me a full refund, that she’d lose money, etc. (not my problem). She said she would look at them and the receptionist would call me back the next day to let me know how much of a refund I’d received. That was last week. I still haven’t heard back! I called again a couple of days later and had to leave a voicemail. I will never use this flower shop again and would discourage others from patronizing them. They can’t be trusted to provide the item that was ordered from their own website, or to make good on sending the wrong one, or to keep any promises they make.

In the pictures I have attached, the one I ordered is on the left and the one mom received is on the right.

UPDATE: Another broken promise. Two weeks have passed since the owner’s response, and I still have not heard from them nor received any compensation. I will now be pursuing this matter further with the appropriate agencies.
