I visited Mystic Reef for the first time yesterday to restock my reef tank with some clean up crew and left as a satisfied customer. I picked up a six line wrasse, some nassarius snails, and an aqua cultured emerald crab, which as of today, is already picking at the bubble algae I specifically bought for. Jeremy was extremely helpful finding what I wanted/needed and was able to answer my questions I had regarding their inventory. They carry aqua cultured fish, inverts, and a variety of dry goods and coral. He also has a little helper who is enthusiastic about this hobby and it makes me hopeful for the reef community. It's good to support small, independent businesses. Although it's a 30 minute drive for me, I will be returning.

I love this place! I started comming here since I was in highschool. My friend and I would always stop by to look at their cool corals and fish. I eventually got into the hobby as an adult and started with my first 2 clowns here and corals as well. Over time Ive gotten a royal gramma, blue tang, cleaner shrimp, and a variety of zoas and xenias from here as well. They have a lot of beautiful colorful corals to choose from. The service has been excellent since my first visit. Jeremy is extremely knowledgable. I remember one time I came in and he was putting away rock, I asked a few questions and he did not hesitate to grab some of his rocks and show me how to stack them depending on the look I was trying to achieve. Jeremy and his wife a very humble. You can tell they love what they do. Their tanks are crystal clean too. The best part is their only a text away if you have any questions! I recently got new corals and asked him about vermitidae snails and he was quick to respond.

They hooked me up! I went to 3 stores to compare the cheapest prices I can find, but ended up leaving with stuff from here. Jeremy was a smooth talker plus he gave me discounts compared to paying their MSRP, and it worked. Although I wouldn’t say they are the cheapest in price, cuz I can get more from online or at Ellis Aquatics in Compton, but they try to work it out that you’ll feel good of buying from them. Good job to them guys! If they cared for my budget, why go somewhere else?
