I came to Dawn Ranch last year for my birthday and visited again this year, making reservations at The Lodge each time. Megan happened to be my server both times and made each visit so much more enjoyable. All of her recommendations were delicious! Their breakfast menu is my favorite - their standard breakfast plate is delicious and their pastries and coffee are sensational. Everything is made with care and quality ingredients. Menu is pricey but the experience is worth it.

We were pleasantly surprised with the quality of food at The Lodge at Dawn Ranch. Service was excellent for both breakfast and dinner. The ambiance is cute enough that you could spend the whole day reading a book or doing some work. For dinner, we were blown away by the quality of food, our server Megan, steered us so expertly. Coming from the Bay Area, we are often spoiled, but the quality of the flavors and food here were on par with better offerings from the Bay. 100% the restaurant is what would make us stay at Dawn Ranch again.

Food was fantastic and so was the ambiance and beautiful atmosphere of this place. However, the service was extremely lackluster to put it nicely. We sat for about 8-10 minutes before anyone even acknowledged our presence to even order a drink. When we saw a server walk by, we flagged her and asked if we could order at least a drink to start. We were looked at as if a complete inconvenience, and with no smile or personable welcome, finally had our order taken without being told of the specials of the day (as I had heard other servers saying to other customers). I feel quite hesitant to write a review like this, and it seems maybe perhaps it was an “off” night for the service as based on the other reviews here. It seems other people had a great experience. It just wasn’t so in this particular circumstance.

I would say, go here for the food and beautiful ambience, but don’t expect anything from the service. Also, keep in mind they charge a 3.5% kitchen appreciation fee on top of an already pricey meal. Most likely will not be returning as there are better options in the area.

Amazing experience! We celebrated a friend's engagement here and it was perfect. So cozy, loved the ambience and lighting. All the dishes were excellent. A true hidden gem.

Checked it out for breakfast. Very impressed with food quality. French toast was excellent. Wife had a very generous Greek yogurt parfait loaded with fresh fruits and granola.

Never stayed here but walked the property and it’s adorable. Will definitely try this place out for lodging accommodations on next visit.

Had the best experience at their restaurant. How come they still don’t have any Michelin star!? Food was absolutely mind-blowing from its presentation to the taste pallet and unusual combinations. Service was on top as well - liked how our server presented the menu and gave us the best pairing recommendations. Loved the beautiful venue and its vibe. Must visit place for sure!!!!
