Monji gardens planted 6 ficus trees as a screen in my backyard. They redid my backyard sprinklers to give the lawn head to head coverage. They installed a new valve and replaced my control box. They installed drip line in the flower bed with a weed barrier and river rock. It was over $9000 of work. When I paid that much for this kind of work I expected it to be quality work. I had problems with the sprinklers from day one. They came out in several occasions and fixed them…sort of. I still need to push down on a couple of the pop ups to get them spraying again. This was all under their warranty. Now the drip line, under the rock and weed barrier has broken. Because it has been a little more than 90 days they want to charge me exorbitant fees for fixing it. A fee close to $100 just to come out and then close to $100 per person to do the work. There is no reason for it to have broken other than poor quality parts or poor installation. Luckily I found someone else to do the repair for a reasonable price. I have found out that you can get quality work using for much less by talking to the local nurseries and garden supply stores. Don’t use Monji.

Super nice place to have a wedding or formal Gathering. My Uncle Dan captures it all with this beautiful landscape and unique venue. Definitely a must-see before you make those wedding or meeting plans.

Honestly, the monji gardens is beautiful but I wasn’t taken seriously. I went there to look at the gardens and went to the office, I’m not sure what the lady name was but she was “too busy” (as she stated annoyingly) to talk to me even though there were no one else there and she clearly was just sitting there. so she asked someone else to take down my name and info. I really wanted my wedding here but they NEVER got back to me. I even left emails, phone calls, left my info and even left a comment on their social media but still nothing, not even a courtesy call. Truly disappointed since I expected a lot from this company.
