I've been here twice, 1 time for the flower shop in the back and the second time to dine in. It's a family business, and I loved how it was. the atmosphere of the location is very cozy. It was Friday afternoon, so they had burgers on the menu served by Mae herself. To be honest, when I saw Mae come from the back room, I was shocked. But in a great way! she is a 85 year that loves what she does. I genuinely enjoyed the food she made. She is wonderful to talk too and I can tell she has a great personality.

everyone in the establishment that I have interacted with has been great! I love to support local and will be coming back.

Like before, a cozy family business that has been wonderful so far.

This is one of my favorite restaurant experiences EVER. It starts with Miss May who is absolutely charming and sweet. She is 84 years young and serves and cooks. The coleslaw was the best I have ever tasted. The whole meal was perfect. The sauces were all homemade and unique. I would buy all of them if I was not flying. I am so happy to have been able to find and experience this place.

This place is amazing. Mrs. May is fabulous and just a hoot to talk to.
She is a hugger and Sissy. If she offers you a sample you better take it. My wife picked this place to go to lunch and it didn't disappoint. We enjoyed everything about it. The service was that of going home to moms house. The portions were large. The flavor of the food was delicious. There are so many wonderful things to say, but I'll leave it up to you to see for yourself.

The flowers were nice but the customer service was horrible. She complained the entire time in front of me while arranging my flowers about me missing her call before arriving. I was crunched for time and getting ready for work so I didn’t see the call. I apologized for missing the call but she literally went on and on with her fellow associates complaining about how we “place orders online and just expect the order to be ready”. Why give me the option for a pick up time online and complain when it’s not ready even though I came 30 minutes late. Which mean she had extra time then what was promised online.

They custom made my bouquet for my wedding, then eating there was a bonus. It's not fancy, so please don't expect that. It's down home good! The people who work there (and eat there) are all friendly and it's an excellent place. Must try at least once, but we've been there twice in 2 weeks. Yum yum!

We've been several times now, the food, service and atmosphere are fantastic. Its feels like you at your extended family's house instead of a restaurant.
We went last night for steak/porkchop night. Its reservations only on Friday night (call ahead).

Flowers received looked nothing like flowers purchased - bouquet was noticeably smaller and had different flowers than pictured. Was told replacement flowers would be sent however that was NOT the case. Instead they TOOK BACK the original bouquet and balloons that were PAID FOR. No replacements received. Got the run around from customer service. Very unprofessional and poor customer service. Save yourself the hassle and order flowers elsewhere.

Surprised to find out the tea room had been converted to a BBQ restaurant - but so glad when we got our food. It was delicious. And the service was awesome. Great old historical house full of character and charm. I will be going back. The Pulled Pork Egg Rolls are Yummy! Ran into some old friends that we had not seen in years.
