I’ve been a member for a few years and love what they keep in stock. The bulk food and supplements section is particularly great and the staff is always very helpful. I often get the soup of the day and stock up on the stuff I can’t get elsewhere unless I order online from far away. It matters to support local businesses.

I LOVE this place! I have been a member for years. Fresh produce, delicious hot soups, amazing product selection, and super friendly and knowledgeable staff. Sunseed is an absolute gem!

Ohhh my gosshhhhh.... i had this place saved as a favorite because i had been in the area before and my experience was nice, so i planned to visit again. Well i came back to the area and just stopped by for a visit. I was there for a nice snack to start the day and some loose bulk tea to add to the tea collection. I questioned the origin of the citric acid in the hummus to one girl and was directed to a different girl who makes it and things got a little edgy, so i stopped with that and went back to get some tea. As i was getting tea i came across a jar that smelled great but i did not know what was in it and this time i asked a guy in there that seemed to be the manager, he wears glasses and has black/dark hair, he then started making agressive comments and then talked badly and scolded me for using the same scoop for two different teas... i did not see any signs that said "use a new scoop every tea"... i was saving the cleaning of scoops as i see it... anyway after telling him the jar does not say the ingriedients he asked me "well does the jar have the ingriedients on it?!?" I asked him if he could get the ingriedients or not? He said "well... i could" i said okay then.... he stood there wanting to argue or looking for something to say so i stated "can you do something or get someone that can" he grabbed the jar and went up to the desk at the front and went to the computer... then i put my other teas on the table because the expierience had gone sour and i was leaving. After i set the tea down and said im good, i do not want anything anymore... he got up quickly and said something like okay then time for you to get out and move on. I said something like (things were sooo tense so im not sure exactly what was said here that is why i say "i said something like") im going but you will not force me to do anything, i will go on my own volition" then this big dirty blonde bouncer vibing guy showed up like he was waiting right around the corner and got all up close to me and relly close... he was sipping on something and getting closer and closer to me while i was moving twords the door while the manager seeming guy was flashing a sheriff card at me and headed over to the phone and said "i dialed 9 1 and then next one will be then he stammered confused what to say... i re affirmed i am leaving but was confused where these horrid vibes had come from so i was asking a few questions on what had happened with the situation amd then was reminded that they might just not be in a good place mentally/spiritually and to just move on... so i went out to my car and said to the manager who had come outside like a guard dog for me who had just come to get a snack and tea 🤷‍♂️ and i said "just take it easy as you can" he kinda looked relieved and that was nice to see... omg tho its like the mob up in there.

Sunseed Food Co-op will not be in business much longer. There are other things i have heard as well and it is going down hill for them. No one has to be treated like that and we avoid places like that because they do not guide us to truly feeling good and being part of a community that cares.

I really liked the selection of teas they had. Got me some Kava. The organic produce look amazing! Though it's a little hard to see the sign Going southbound due to the shrubs. But no biggie I really like this place.

Such a cool little health food store. We went in to check it out and were very impressed. Loved the banana Chips and the cafe next door has some tasty options as well. A must stop if ever in the Cape.....

An amazing place to acquire provisions. I wish I wouldve taken more photos. They also have bulk dry goods and a great selection of natural foods and things like soaps and other toiletries. They have a pet isle. Everyone else as super helpful and gave me samples.
I can't wait to go back.

Nice options for foods without extra unneeded ingredients. It was quite expensive for most things, but I guess that somewhat comes with the territory. Very close to the ocean to stop in before/after going to the beach for a popsicle.
