I had a terrible experience with this company. They went bankrupt and completely screwed over their workers by failing to provide W2 forms. I've tried reaching out multiple times through phone calls and emails, but no one in the office will respond. This has caused a lot of frustration and inconvenience. Would not recommend working with or doing business with them.

Unfortunately, they dropped the ball with the sod they delivered yesterday. It's 50% weeds, 25% bugs not sod. Had red and black ants EVERYWHERE in it. I was covered in over 1000 red ants yesterday and had to sit in a cool bath because the bites were killing me. You can get better grass from a cow field, and that definitely won't have ants.
I left a message asking for help, and they didn't get back to me. You can see in my video that the red ants aren't small. They also left tire marks on my driveway, which shows the person doesn't know how to drive. If you need sod I wouldn't buy from this company.

What a disappointment. We had a new lawn put in early this year. I called them to come back and spray more before they put the sod in. Spent lots of money on the sod installation and watering to get it started. We have more weeds than grass. It looks awful. I would like to get rid of it. Our half dead yard looked better before we had it replaced. I wouldn't recommend Southern Sod to anyone.

I was a little skeptical at first when the Bahia grass i bought was delivered very brown and dry. The recommendation was to just keep watering it and it would get green in about a week. Thats what we did for 30 minutes about 3 times a day, plus all this rain for the last week. 3 weeks later I just cut the grass for the first time and its looking amazing!

Southern Sod customer service and flexibility to help their customers have my business. They answer their phones compared to other places ive called. They do whatever it takes to help their customers. For example my go to sod supplier forgot my order and I scrambled to find someone. Southern Sod had what I needed in short notice. I came in even after close cause of traffic and they were understanding and waited for me after and took care of me. They have some of the best St Augustine Grass around. I am appreciative of having a dependable and reliable sod supplier that I can provide for my customers. Thank you Southern Sod.

Great customer service, the sod is top notch quality, well taken care of and the blocks mostly are the same size and hold together when handled. My two neighbors decided to get gras when I was doing mine, but the companies that did theirs, chose por quality sod from who knows where. I did my own, took my time, four pallets later my front/backyard look awesome. Southern Sod, in my opinion pride themselves in what they do.

I went over there personally on (09/17/24- Tuesday) as shown on the picture, and placed an order to pick up a st augustine pallet on (09/21/24- Saturday). The person on the front desk said that they work on saturday and that I shouldn’t have no problem picking up. I got there saturday 7:50am and waited until 9:00am and nobody showed up. I went back there yesterday and a employee said that the boss guaranteed that I should have the pallet by today after 10am as shown on the picture as well. I got over there today at 11:20am and they said that they didn’t received the pallet. They have my phone number and never called or anything. Today I asked for my refund. Never buying over there again, very unprofessional, lack of communication, irresponsible!
Obs: their phone number is not working as well.
