I absolutely love this venue. The location is 1 mile from the town center of julian but seems SO secluded. So many beautiful views, if you like nature... you are in the perfect place. All of the houses are so cozy, and welcoming. The staff uses golf carts to get you and your guests around on your wedding day. You can use your own vendors. Yes There are noise restrictions but they are within reason as they are an outdoor venue and sound travels through the valleys quite a bit. Meaning ragers aren't the norm here. In my opinion that works fine considering you are surrounded by nature and it fits the atmosphere.

This is actually a great place to stay at as long as your itinerary is not having a party. A very beautiful place to be especially the sunset setting. It is very quiet and family friendly. It could also be great to stay in during winter snowy season.
My only gripes about it is having a party there, the host was repeatedly told not to be noisy when dancing and the sound should be in lower level. Not to mention subwoofers are not allowed. And this is happening before 10 pm.
Stay in it for family friendly vacation but skip it if you want to have a wedding or other party event reception in there.

Such a beautiful place! My best friend got married here 14 years ago when it was known as Angles Landing. It was so nice to see it's open for weddings again and looking picture perfect! We were lucky enough to run into one of the wedding coordinators when we were there and she was just lovely. Gave us a tour of the whole place and was so welcoming and gracious.

Sacred Mountain is one of the most unique venues we could have ever imagined. We did a retreat style mid week wedding, renting the facilities from Tuesday through Thursday. This allowed our wedding party and closer family to stay on site with us - a destination wedding even though we don’t live far away. Across the three different buildings we had rented everyone had plenty of space in the serene and picturesque mountain landscape.

The views from the residence is stunning with lots of natural wildlife and native trees and flowers surrounding you. The nights are so dark you can make out every constellation in the sky. The hot tubs and pools are a perfect way to end the day under the stars.

We had our wedding on their summit plateau which gives views of the rolling foothills. Perfect for our sunset ceremony - even the wild turkeys were enjoying themselves. A gorgeous rustic elegance venue that matched our vision perfectly.

Sacred Mountain is a beautiful venue and made my daughter's wedding weekend a triumphant success! They bent over backwards, made concessions, talked to neighbors to get approval for a larger event size, etc. Suffice it to say, they went above and beyond. We had guests travel in from all over the country, and they all raved about how beautiful the place was.

All of the staff we met and dealt with throughout our experience at the Sacred Mountain Retreat were helpful, courteous, and made the whole process fun! They were extremely responsive, generous, caring and a dream to work with.

Spectacular venue. We attended a wedding and it couldn't have been more beautiful! If anyone says to you "it's rustic", think Martha Stewart. It is beautiful and feels like a secluded sanctuary, yet its just a hop away from down town Julian

We were a few minutes late and there were only signs on one of the roads that brings you to the property so we missed the wedding ceremony by spending 30 minutes looking for the venue. There is no obvious sign for the property from the main road and the address given is for the village the wedding party stays at, not where the weddings take place. There was not enough room for the amount of people there either. It was a nice a venue but needs a better parking area and better direction (no directions on website either)

We went to the Buckley / Jauregui wedding. The weather was raining but the staff and guests worked through it. We had a wonderful evening felt the staff did a great job with a storm that came in full force. The food was very good, appetizers served continually by several staff (6) until the dinner was served. Congratulations Buddy and Megan we all will have a laugh and a story to tell.
Many Blessings as you had one if the best Pastors that I have heard give a blessing to a wonderful couple. A wedding is about the couple and we are honored that you included so many to join you.
