I ordered flowers to be sent to my wife for Valentine's Day this year. I was pretty excited to work with Roses and Bows as they were referred to me by my all-time favorite florists who closed her doors recently and highly recommended I go to them. I get it, it was Valentine's Day and there were likely hundreds of orders, but I was really disappointed because my wife never received her flowers that day. Around 4PM I called them to ask when they might be delivered but the response was short and curt, "Sir, we have 4 trucks out there delivering over 250 orders and will be out delivering flowers until 8pm tonight." I tried explaining that her office closed at 5PM and we were going out of town for the long weekend, so she wouldnt see her Valentines flowers until February 19th. According to the person I spoke with, she was too busy to pull my order but will look in to it. Shamefully, we found out they delivered the flowers the afternoon of the 15th. I'm sure the arrangement looked beautiful when it left their shop (primarily because of the referral I was given) but I dont know the condition they'll be in 5 days later after having sat unattended on a desk in an office. Fortunately I'm a dutiful enough husband to have other things lined up, but it's not like I waited until the 9th hour to place my order and it doesn't unreasonable to expect an establishment to deliver on what you pay for on the day you want ask for it. The flowers are my wife's favorite part of the holiday and if I can't trust them, it'll likely mean this will the first and last time I use their services.

Downgrade from 2-stars to 1-star. My wife finally got to her flowers this morning after the long weekend. For $70 there were 3 large roses and an assortment of tiny dead ones. What's more, they even misspelled my name on the message to her. Save yourself the trouble and find flowers somewhere else.

I called at noon on Saturday and wanted flowers delivered that day. It was done cheerfully. I picked out a designer arrangement that was over my budget yet they worked with me and changes were made that did not compromise the beauty. They sent a picture before it left the shop. Excellent service and very knowledgeable about unique foliage that made the arrangement standout. The owner helped us write the message.

I ordered two separate flower bouquets for two separate people today, I ordered online--one was for local delivery today, the other was by FTD delivery out of town. The ordering process was smooth and easy, the web site easy to navigate, prices were comparable with other shops and past experiences with other florists. This was the first time I've used Roses and Bows Florist, and only after ordering did I happen to read the rather bland reviews by prior customers. I have to say, my entire experience with this florist has been quite favorable and I have no problem recommending them. Both orders got delivered today as promised and as requested. When there was a question about my email address from the online order, they called me. Since I am in Baja, Mexico and my orders were going to Northern California locations, I had no way of following up on my orders until I heard from the recipients--in both cases, everyone seemed pleased by the results and gifts. I definitely would use this florist again after my experiences today.

Ordered flowers on Wednesday before a Friday 11:00 a.m. funeral. Received a cell phone call on Friday at 2:30 p.m. requesting another address to send the flowers as the church was locked up. Asked why I hadn't been called prior to this if there was uncertainty as to the delivery point. Was told they phoned my home on Thursday but didn't leave a message. Asked why didn't they use the cell phone number they just called me on. Was told they didn't think of it. I cancelled the order as it was too late. They called two or three times after I cancelled requesting another address to take the flowers, leaving messages they were going to send me consolation flowers. I waited for two or three days for a refund which didn't show up. I had to call and request a refund which took about a week. The refund to date is still short $10.00. I used Roses and Bows for years and had no problems. I will not use them again.

I was a terrible daughter, and have been sick all week. I called Roses & Bows 10 minutes before they closed. I explained that I needed birthday flowers delivered ASAP!!!! as I forgot to order flowers earlier. They said no problem, we will get them there tonight. Mom was gone when they arrived, but came home to a beautiful arrangement!!!!
Thank you for covering my butt tonight!!!!

Another Florist let us down on flowers to be delivered today, the day before Saint Patrick's Day, to my wife's 91 year old mother. My wife was justifiably very upset, as Saint Patrick's Day is the day her father was born and also the day he passed away (a good Irishman!). Thanks to Elaine, who took our order late today, we have a photo of the gorgeous, large arrangement of flowers which is already prepared and ready for delivery tomorrow morning. Outstanding! We will be dealing with this company from now on. Reliability and courtesy along with a great work ethic and truly outstanding, fresh flower arrangements! Thank you very much, Elaine!! Have been using this shop ever since Rancho Cordova Florist went out of business. Tried a few others nearby with ok results but then found Roses and Bows and never left. I just tell them the kind of flowers my mom likes and how much I can spend and they whip up a great arrangement every time! It makes my mom happy so what more can you ask? And they are very helpful and patient over the phone since I no longer live in the area and order over the phone for every holiday. Saves a few $ over ordering via the national networks like FTD and you get a custom arrangement. Highly recommended.

I would NEVER order from here again. I ordered an arrangement from teleflora, they used this florist. They sent out OLD flowers, and delivered a week early. They will not stand behind their quality of work...this was an expensive arrangement, and the lily's died in 2 days, Rose's never opened. POoR QUALITY, AND POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE
NOTE. I DID NOT SAY THEY WERE BEAUTIFUL, I SAID THE ONLY FLOWERS LEFT AT 7 DAYS ALIVE WAS THE GLADIOLAS, which were beautiful. THE LILYS DIED IN 2 DAYS, THE ROSES NEVER OPENED, THEY JUST TURNED BROWN. ALSO, IT WAS 7 DSYS AGO, NOT 1 1/2 WEEKS AGO AS OWNER STATED. SHE NEVER OFFERED A REPLACEMENT, WHICH WOULD HAVE BEEN A SATISFACTORY OUTCOME.
