So far, I've ordered several long flat bed trucks (maximum capacity is 8 pallets) full of material including Veggie soil, drain rock, blue fine, Sono tubes, and retaining wall blocks. All good quality at good prices. John and Bob run the show and have been super helpful and patient with this newbie landscaper. Bob has provided invaluable advice from his decades of experience.

The other day we ran out of retaining blocks after taking their remaining 6 pallets they had in stock. Due to the holiday weekend, their supplier said it might not get refilled until the week after. However, somehow they managed to get a hold of the 7 more pallets needed to complete my project within days. With our worker's schedule, this worked out perfectly.

Their staff from Cathy (behind the counter) to their delivery driver Francisco are most helpful and a delight to work with. Their delivery charge for our area max out at about $150, but it's well worth the convenience. I highly recommend going to check out their yard in person. They have set up an area across from the office with samples of hardscaping ideas to get your imagination started. There's a very wide selection of stones, pavers, concrete blocks, different types of soil/mulch for your plants/gardening, and additional supplies needed to put together your dream projects.

Pros: Really friendly, helpful people (both in person and on the phone, both in the front office and in the trucks), good quality materials, and pretty reasonable prices. We ordered soil from them and would definitely do it again—and we plan to order flagstones and gravel soon!

Cons: They are bad about updating their hours (e.g. their website says they're open until 4 on Saturdays, but it's 2 PM in the winter and 3:30 PM otherwise). Also, I understand that they don't want to publish price lists, but their system would work better if they had better labels for stuff in their rock yard (e.g. flagstones) so that it's easier to get a quote in the office.

Worst truck driver ever behind me on highway 92 on the way over to half moon bay. First he would have hit me from behind because he wasn’t paying attention with the stopped traffic ahead when I came to a stop he clearly was in La La lane and at the last minute noticed traffic was stopped. Thank the heavens I had left about 5 car lengths ahead of me because he ends up blaring his horn because he can’t stop in time so I had to move forward in order to not get hit. Ok that’s one thing , I can forgive that, but he then proceeds to ride my bumper the rest of the way in stop and go traffic into half moon bay. Coming just inches up to my number multiple time. This guy way a piece of sheet and I wish that he would be fired asap. This happened Wednesday 2-28-24 between 10:30-11 am westbound highway 92. Peace out!

The owner and staff went out of their way for us, going above and beyond the scope of duty just to help us out and get our project done right before Xmas! Wow what a great feeling it was to know that there are companies out there who still believe in pleasing their customers! Also we were able to get all of our products in one place at Rice they simply had it all! And great prices as well! We will definitely be back!!😁. Thank guys!
