Went for a monster truck event. Love the fact it was indoors. The place was pretty clean but a nightmare trying to get out once the event was over. We just wanted til the traffic died off before we even made an attempt to leave.

The Okeechobee Agri-Civic Center is a modern multi-use center suitable for a wide variety of events from Circuses to Rodeos to the YeeHaw Music Fest, a growing bluegrass festival held annually here in January. With electric and water camping sites, hot showers, and enough space for extensive expansion, this Center is has easy access to all of South Florida.

Even if you buy tickets ahead of time they make you wait in the same line as everyone else to get a wrist band. They have no idea how to run an event efficiently and have terrible attitudes. We won’t go to another one of their events.

Beautiful arena!!! We visited for a barrel raceing/ pole bending competition this past weekend for the first time and were highly impressed!!!

I was here for the Yeehaw bluegrass festival which has been held hear for the past 2 or 3 years. Always a good time, good bands good music; usually held mid-January if anybody's interested just look for it online. They have dry camping and camping with hookups so you can bring your camper or your tent and stay the weekend; you can also bring your guitar, bass, mandolin, banjo, fiddle, whatever instrument you happen to play and walk around to the different campsites and join people picking.
