We had a wonderful lunch at Mendocino Farms today. Excellent service from the moment we walked in. We were greeted by staff. Laurisa was particularly attentive and friendly. Our food was brought to us in a timely manner and was delicious. I ordered the November to Remember sandwhich which like a Thanksgiving dinner on a sand which! Laurisa cleared our table for us. A++ service today!

I got the combo tomato basil soup with 1/2 turkey AVO and it was very tasty. Service and table delivery process is somewhat disconnected and otherwise not properly explained as it took sometime to receive my order. Very clean looking inside.

I get the same order everytime as I love it and cant seem to stop getting it. I do have 1 problem. Like most restaurants nowadays, they want you to add a tip even for take out.
I've done my own anecdotal research. When I do not tip, I seem to get less. Its happened enough times that I dont think its random. Smaller salad or smaller portion. Their small salads are already small but when I dont tip, half the container is empty.
This is not the only restaurant I've observed this phenomenon. I think it stinks. Prices are high enough and I personally dont feel like a tip is deserved for take out.
In spite of the tipping problem. I continue to go here as I love the 1/2 sandwich and soup or salad that I get often.
This presenting the tip screen when we are paying for take out has got to stop.

They always get my order right, even with a ton of modifications! I use them for lunch and learn meetings quite frequently for physician's offices. Fresh food with a nice variety of options for various dietary restrictions.

Nice staff, love the location and great ambiance to sit in inside. It serves as a pleasant alternative to Whole Foods for lunch. Both places feel healthy and nutritious - Whole Foods probably with more pure ingredients regarding chemicals and animal welfare. Still I’d highly recommend Mendocino Farms as a fun place to go. Came to Mendocino Farms for the first time after hearing good things about the food at the Alicia Pkwy location. The sandwich was good but that doesn’t matter with the customer service you’ll receive here. If the goal here is to drive away and alienate customers then you are succeeding. Reí took our order and his indifference could be felt. No thank you, no acknowledgment that our order order was taken. He simply walked away as soon as we paid. He didn’t even hand us the cup for the drink we paid for. I might as well have on a uniform as I grabbed the cup next to the register. Once our order was ready, Rei, walked over and gave us our food. There’s the one star. Again, just a silent hand over and a quick walk away to go chat with his friends behind the counter.

Was honestly super surprised at this place had their Vietnamese Banh Mi sandwich, habanero chips and their green drink. The person who served the food suggested extra sauce for the sandwich which was fantastic. 10 out of 10 employees we're super kind and helpful. Food was fresh and rather exciting actually it was a dinner rush and it was busy but everyone was smiling and happy to be working there!
