I came upon this vile pit of hatred a few years back. The people who I encountered here were rude beyond belief and highly malicious, as it seems to me that they tried to kill my goats. I don't know if they just didn't like my looks or what! I am a local who tells everyone I meet to avoid this place like the plague. I went to this pit three times, and all three times was met with stone-faced stares, then ignored. I found it amusing that anyone who came in after I did was immediately helped, despite me waiting for at least 5 minutes, asking for help; all the while the person behind the counter just scowled at me. I had never met this person in my life before going here, and the only reason I came here was the central location, as I had just moved to Alpine and my property came with the aforementioned goats. I asked for feed for my goats, and was given a general feed. This has minerals which can shut down goats internal organs, which they should know. Sadly, at the time I didn't know this. Upon my second visit, I asked for the same stuff I was given before, to be scoffed at and told there is no such thing. I asked for something for my goats, and was given a general feed (for sheep and other ruminants; granted different this time that the first, but still with the wrong, well according to my vet dangerous, mineral content for goats). Upon my third visit, the person behind the counter was chatting with somebody. After waiting at least 5 minutes, I politely inquired about service and was literally yelled at for being rude. After politely waiting for the discussion to pause, I was yelled at! I am not a child or anything like that, I WAS a PAYING CUSTOMER!! I decided to be the adult and simply left and found a place just a few minutes away that is awesome. Sadly, not before one of my goats got sick (I take responsibility for that one, I was uneducated about the requirements for goats and should have found a different place after the first time, but I try to understand bad days and such). Guess when someone is rude for no reason, it pays to just never go back! I waited so long to post this as I needed the time to get over what happened. I simply could not believe it! I will say I had 3 goats, now I have 2. I just wish I had found my current feed store that much earlier. If you care about your animals, do NOT shop here!

I use a brand of feed that is advertised on their outside wall. However, they did not have the product I use, I ordered a certain amount and was promised it would arrive the next week. Three weeks later, product still hadn't been ordered/or delivered. One day, when I went into the store to inquire about my order, the man that worked at the counter, was on the phone, chit chatting with someone. I stood there, at the counter for at least 15 minutes, right in front of him, and he did not acknowledge my presence or say a word to me. He did however, turn his back to me and continue his telephone conversation. I was appalled at the rudeness! Needless to say, the next day I called and asked to speak to the owner, complained about the service and asked about my order. The product was NEVER ordered. I cancelled my order and took my business elsewhere. They lost out on about $160 a week in business from me. I never use them and never recommend them to anyone! Horrible customer service and overpriced!
