Service: one of the most professional, prompt, and easy companies we’ve worked with. Everyone on their team was courteous, thoughtful, and the foremen communicated very well. They asked us about everything that mattered to us, and did everything as we asked.

Scheduling / quotes: They were prompt at coming over for a quote. They started when they said they would, and finished the job within their time estimate. There were no hidden fees or changes to the quoted price.

Quality of work: We’re very happy with the attention to detail, even on areas that aren’t visible (like the wire/fabric underneath). All surfaces are holding up so far (8 months after).

We recently had our backyard completely redone by Ideal Landscape & Concrete, and we couldn't be happier with the results. Our project involved demoing the old yard and paving with beautiful pavers. Although the project faced some unexpected challenges, including a long wait for HOA approval and needing to reschedule due to a broken stump grinder, David and his team handled everything with professionalism and care.

David was incredibly knowledgeable and always had our best interests in mind. He offered several upgrades, such as irrigation lines, which have made a huge difference. Despite the delays, he kept everything on track and made sure the end result was exactly what we envisioned—our backyard looks amazing! I cannot recommend Ideal strongly enough. David and his team did such a beautiful job on a herringbone pattern for our patio that we did not consider anyone else for our just completed project: a side yard walkway and aisles between three raised vegetable beds. They are reasonably priced, reliable and do excellent work.

We had a problem with weeds that were overgrown in our yard and we needed a company to come in and help us out. Several years ago we had already put in synthetic grass thinking that it would largely solve our problems with weeds. However, the weeds still seemed to flourish around the outside perimeter and borders where the synthetic grass was installed. So in order to take care of this issue, I reached out to Ideal Landscape & Concrete to schedule an appointment. It took a little while to get on their calendar largely due to previous commitments that I had with work, but they did come out and gave us a fair price. They did the job from start to finish in one day. It wasn't a huge project but the results I think were rather impressive given the amount of work required. They were thorough and we were very pleased with the outcome. I would definitely recommend giving them a call to see if they can help out with landscaping needs that you might have.

Ideal Landscape and Concrete recently helped us totally redo our large front yard. It involved taking out the existing concrete driveway, brick walkways, lawn and plants and installing a paver driveway and walkways, a much smaller lawn area, drought tolerant plants, a new sprinkler system and new lighting. It is truly a family business that offers great customer service. Our initial contact was with David who gave us a fair estimate and was very good at communicating during the entire six week process. His brother, Fred supervised the demolition work and helped us with our lighting selection. HIs father, Robert supervised the installation of the whole project and kept us informed about what to expect, and made many helpful suggestions. There were some added expenses, but they always sought our approval before making any changes. The crews that work for them have been with them for a long time and were always friendly, courteous and hard working. They did a beautiful job with all the hardscape and planting. They truly are professionals and know what they’re doing and make great recommendations to solve problems. Ideal strongly recommends that you work with a landscape architect (Agnes Tung) to order the plants and supervise the placement of the plants. She was wonderful to work with and very helpful. The whole experience was very professional and we are very pleased with the outcome. We truly felt that they worked hard to make sure that we got the yard that we wanted. We can recommend Ideal Landscape and Concrete without reservation.

Ideal Engineering did an amazing job transforming my backyard through a paver installation project. Everyone involved, from the owner to the foremen to the excavation and stonemason crews, was very hard-working, skilled at their craft, and friendly and professional (with a special thank you to the two talented stonemasons who went above and beyond to build a beautiful paver step to replace an old, cracked, and very ugly concrete step on an outdoor staircase). Both crews worked efficiently and creatively through logistical challenges like cramped access points, narrow roads, limited parking/storage space, and even an unexpectedly shallow water line, taking care to minimize the hassle for me and always tidying up fastidiously after themselves. The pricing was fair and transparent, and the company gave me honest advice on multiple occasions without trying to upsell me on unnecessary charges. The yard looks a hundred times better now and is so much more livable and enjoyable! I'd gladly work with Ideal Engineering again.

Can’t say enough good things about Ideal, David, and his team. From getting the quote to commencement, the process was easy and straightforward. David is very personable and he makes sure the job is done exactly as we wanted it. We inquired about repacking the backyard with concrete due to cracking which caused leaking into the crawl space. As you can imagine it is such a headache for any homeowner. We found David and Ideal on a local google search and we are very happy with our choice. I loved that he kept in touch with us, introduced us to his foreman Jose before beginning, called every other day to ask if we had questions along the way. We asked about ideas for water drainage since there was no where water could go. He has great ideas and suggestions if you ask! After the job was done, he did a walkthrough and fixed any little thing he saw out of place or needed a touch up. Even added new soil and grass seeds to our lawn =) we definitely will recommend our friends and family. I’m a firm believer in helping local businesses and Ideal is top notch.

Update:

David, Jose and team have come through once again! Five years ago we had Ideal Landscaping re-do our yard and put in a draining system to solve a huge flooding issue and we were so happy with the result. Fast forward to now, we had another issue come up and I contacted David again and he sent Jose out the next day to assess the situation. Communication with David is always so easy and he’s very responsive. He scheduled the team to come out and replace the original sump pump with a bigger tank since the last one was not sufficient enough anymore. Ahead of the atmospheric river this year, he got the team out a day before the storm and finished the project in a day!! Talk about efficiency!! We were also hosting a party that night and no one would have known we had major work done that finished an hour before. I can’t tell you how much David and team keep impressing me with their professionalismu and dedication to their customers, old and new. David also personally came at the end of the day to check in and wanted to make sure we were happy with everything. They will always be go-to team for concrete and drain work!
