Field Trip to Heritage Bee Farm was a 10/10 experience! We learned so much about honey bees, got to be up close and personal with the hives, taste honey straight from the hive, and support our local farm! Their honey was delicious and the items in their gift shop were so cute. My kiddos loved everything about this experience even though they were nervous about being too close to the bees.

It is a family run business and the “kids” of the family (who were grown) were the ones giving us a tour. They were incredibly kind and knowledgeable!

We have plans to schedule another field trip here for the spring. Absolutely recommend participating in one of their tours!

Had an amazing experience today. Chris was so knowledgeable and answered all our questions. It was more intimate as only 2 others joined my mom and I. You can tell Chris and his family are passionate in what they do and are proud of what they’ve created. My favorite part was really seeing up close how hard these bees work! Thank you so much again and I can’t wait to work with you all in the future 🐝💛 Happy saving the bees!

Harvest honey from start to finish, and then take some home with you!!

Chris and family at Heritage Bee Farm are an absolute pleasure to work with. Whenever I have needed new mated queens for my own beehives, Chris has been able to get me some in short order. I've tried to get queens from various people over the years, but Heritage Bee Farm is the only place where I can ask for a queen and go and pick it up the next day. The honey is delicious, too! Definitely worth a visit when the weather is sunny & warm.

This was INCREDIBLE!!! Christian was our guide ,and he was so knowledgeable. It was the most interactive tour we've ever been on.
It was a little hard to find them, but when I called, they picked up right away. They guided us there, and we were greeted by the cutest dog, Tilly. The tour started with Christian explaining the parts of the bee box and telling us cool facts about bees. We learned so much! He was very patient with our seven year old daughter, and he answered every one of her questions.
After the informative part, we went to an actual bee box. My mind was BLOWN!!!!!! He showed us all the stuff we just learned about; we found the queen, held a slide with bees on it, and even tasted honey right there!
At the end of the tour, we got to bottle our own honey. I HIGHLY recommend this tour. We didn't get stung, our seven year old enjoyed the entire thing, and they were very friendly.

Me and my boyfriend came to visit and it was just us two here. Chris was very flexible with times despite having some cleanup from hurricane Milton. We learned a ton of new things about bees and their behaviors, left feeling well educated!

Update----
Once again, we got them through Facebook, and they were absolutely able to have a queen ready in two days. It was a bit of a drive, but they were helpful and friendly when I arrived and asked about buying a queen. The owners son was great, and I loved the friendly gigantic dogs! His dogs were the best part of the visit!!

They were non-committal by emai and by phone, but my wife contacted them through facebook and i immediately got an opportunity to buy a couple of queens. When I met with Chris, he was very knowledgeable and friendly. I strongly recommend Heritage Bee Farm - but message them through Facebook to get the best response.
