Gove Landscape Construction completed a huge overhaul of our front and back yards. Harlan Hardesty was the landscape architect who drew up the very detailed plans, and Randy Gove helped to scale it down to fit our budget. We are thrilled with the results! Our yard is not only more beautiful, but there is much more useable outdoor space for our family to enjoy, and it is safer for us as we age in place. There was good communication throughout the project, and Randy came by to check on things nearly every day. Randy’s crews were respectful, knowledgeable and skilled. It has been about one year since completion, and the follow up has been as promised. Some plants inevitably don’t make it, and they were replaced as soon as weather conditions allowed. The pictures show only two of the significant changes that were made to our yard. We highly recommend Gove Landscape Construction! Thank you, Randy, for doing such a fabulous job!!

We are so happy with our new backyard that was designed and constructed by Gove Landscape Construction. Randy Gove is easy to work with and made sure everything was perfect. He has a great eye for design, and made a couple of changes to the design to ensure it would be beautiful, balanced, and have the look we were going for. He even added some touches that he felt we “needed” and didn’t charge for them. His employees are also friendly and listen to concerns or suggestions. I highly recommend Randy Gove and Gove Landscape Construction to anyone interested in doing a landscape project at their home or business.

You can’t help but gain another family when working with Gove Landscaping. Randy helped create a beautiful front yard space for me in 2019. When the time came to redo my back yard, I had no doubt who to call! The most important attribute of Gove landscaping; they listen to YOU! THEN they add their expertise and TOGETHER you create the best possible outcome! The process was easy for both the front and the back yard space. The plans were well laid out, they communicated through it all, and the best part, they work with your budget! Each and every employee are welcome to my home anytime. Oh and if my name is on this review, we are not blood related, haha that's how I found him for my front yard- I saw his truck in a parking lot. I thought it might be a "sign" and it was, I was lucky to find Randy that day.

I met Randy a little over a year ago when we began meeting with Landscape designers to discuss completely gutting and re-designing our front yard. Randy actually invited us to his house to see the work he had done in his own yard, as we had some similarities around our yards and our desires of what we wanted completed.

We actually went through a different designer than that one that Randy utilizes, and I think that is one thing I would do differently.
Randy has a gift for being able to design and implement a vision, and although we saved a few bucks by using a different designer, I would have happily spent the extra money in hindsight to allow us to really utilize Randy's team to create that vision.

The project itself was a complete gutting and re-design of our front yard, including multiple mature tree removals, concrete removal, and retaining wall installation and reinforcement. Randy's crews were always courteous and kept a clean job site - something that I think gets overlooked often. They also allowed my kids to watch and ask a million question, and our kids felt like Randy and his crew were an extension of our family at times, which is hilarious since our project took 40 days start to finish, but we developed that type of a relationship.

I was VERY timid and questioned every decision at the beginning of this project (hence why I used a different designer than Randy originally utilized). By the end of this project, I fully trusted that Randy really had our best interest in mind, and that his recommendations were part of an incredible vision. I mean it - the man truly has a gift!

Our front yard turned out phenomenal, and we continually get comments from neighbors or folks passing by. We completely redesigned everything about our frontyard, and now it is more accommodating to family time, beautiful landscaping, addressed drainage issues, added lighting, and even added turf grass that looks incredible. Randy was accommodating, coaching, and made recommendations that we loved and had often never thought about along the whole project.

I can wholeheartedly recommend Randy and Gove Landscape - you will be in great hands! We have told him this, but I'll assume he will read this here as well - we will be back to him in a few years to do our backyard!

I cannot say enough about the fantastic job GOVE Landscaping did designing and installing our new Granite Bay backyard, including all grading, drainage and irrigation. They started from scratch with a flat piece of dirt and created a beautiful dream yard complete with stamped concrete patio and walkways, a big fountain, custom rock benches, turf, nightscape lighting and stunning plants and trees. Randy Gove himself hand-drew the landscape plan, after several meetings and trips to the nursery, to incorporate my specific design elements into the finished product. Randy is extremely knowledgeable about landscape design and plant selection. To him it’s like creating a painting. When it’s time to start his crew comes with all their equipment and work non-stop. They are neat, courteous and experienced, and happy to get input from the homeowner. What impressed me the most is how anxious Randy is to please the homeowner and do what they have in mind, even if it might not be his own personal taste. But he also is not afraid to make suggestions to enhance an element to make it even more attractive or functional. I interviewed 3 designers and there was no doubt Gove was the best, and the right fit, for this job. (And, he was the most expensive. You get what you pay for!) Gove Landscaping made this project fun. The transformation each day was amazing. If you want a professional, personable, honest, knowledgeable, create and dependable approach to your landscape job, Gove is your guy.

I am so impressed and pleased with the full-yard landscaping Randy and his crew completed for me last month. He and Randy-His-Plant-Guy are artists and perfectionists. They envision the full project and then complete every detail to bring it into reality. I had initially hesitated to contact him after seeing his completed projects, thinking he would be way out of my budget, but his bid was right there with others' and he kept it where I needed it. I feel like I got great value with this project. I also appreciated how they explained every step they took, from excavation to drainage to hardscape to sprinkler system to planting. Fully transparent and no shortcuts anywhere. The whole crew was conscientious with their work. Great team! I highly recommend Randy Gove and his crew!

Randy and his team have just completed the third project for us in the past 2 years. You'd think we would know everything we wanted at the beginning, but plans changed. From design to completion he was always on time, very professional (love his team!), reasonably priced and we couldn't be happier. No hesitation recommending Gove to anyone!
