Went for a tour so my girls could take lessons. Jana said she would get back to me and never did. Her reason is that she was “horse shopping.” But for 3 weeks? Give me a break. At least have the decency to let me know we aren’t the right fit for your program. I saw her at the feed store and asked her about it and her response was short and rude with no attempt to make any kind of amends. Business must be booming to neglect potential clients like that. She would have had four new riders but instead has zero. Don’t recommend simply based off of the few encounters, lack of consideration, and lack of professionalism.

Jana & Marylu are the absolute best! I’m so glad I found a barn close to home, with an awesome program, and such great people. Marylu has helped me tremendously with my seat. I’m 31, have been riding my entire life, and she teaches me things every week that I didn’t know before. Highly recommend!

Happy to call Galaxy home! Jana is the best trainer you will find. She is SAFE! She will teach you the foundational skills you need to be successful and safe. Jana will also help you learn to master your reservations and overcome and previous fears or bad experiences you may have had. She will never ask you to do something she is not confident you can handle. Jana is flexible with lesson scheduling and makes time for her students. That being said, she is naturally swamped during show season like many of our riders. New riders should understand this. The students at this barn are incredibly kind and welcoming. Highly recommend it for children and adult riders, both amateur and professional.

I was in need of some processed straw for my garden, with little luck at the big box stores, I gave Janna a cold call (email) explaining my situation. Jana was quick to reply and had informed me to call and set up a pick up time. For not being a regular customer or even a horse owner, I'm impressed on how generous Jana is. The ranch appeared very orderly, clean and has a corral with lots of obstacles for horse training. The horses looked very healthy. Shade, food and water all visible from a distance. Thank you for helping out a neighbor. I will refer my peers to Galaxy Farms for horse related matters.

If you are looking for a place to be serious, competitive, and pushed to do everything you can, then I strongly recommend this place. I went for a year and for a while the owner/instructor was unable to be on time. We went about two months at one point and she canceled every week. I fell off once and I was scared to canter, and I never liked jumping, but she pushed me to do it though I told her I didn’t want to. If you want to be pushed and competitive jumping, I absolutely recommend this place. But if you want a more relaxing place with less pressure, I recommend a different stable.
