I hate to go against the grain, but the Coconut Barrel shops first of all are claustrophobic and the aisles confusing to navigate. Much of the merchandise looks mass produced with handmade prices. Much of it is just "vanilla" crafts and very little higher end skilled crafts -although there are several of the cubicles that deliver quality and ingenuity. I will never go back.

Make sure you have TIME when you show up!! There is SO MUCH to look at and so many great pieces you wont want to miss! My absolute favorite is the 'Kidz Biz' section which is a non-profit donated space for young entrepreneurs, I legitimately got goosebumps when I saw that space. Kori and Steve are WONDERFUL people and have brought so much to the St Augustine community.

My wife and I decided to stop by the newly renamed Mall in St. Augustine- Mall 2121 - inside found this gem - full of artisan shops with all kinds of goodies - plus had Christian music playing and this glorious blessing wall - highly recommend

Spacious and nicely arranged local crafts outlet. A very wide variety of items from nicknacks to expensive works of art. A comfortable space with lots of free parking. Colorful and enjoyable.

The world needs more places like coconut barrel. Every stall was unique, everything was super fun to browse through and there is definitely something for everyone. Its not a typical flea market where you have attendants at every booth and you are doing numerous transactions, everything is universally barcoded and you bring it to one register up front. I would definitely come back and shop again.
