This florist literally saved my Valentine's Day.

I was taken advantage of by another company who never delivered my arrangement. I got home from work at 7 pm on Valentine's Day to find my order from the other company (Blossom Flower Delivery) was never delivered. I checked the status of that order and it said delivery was completed. The phone number that company provided did not work.

I called Blossoms and Botanicals San Mateo by mistake thinking it was the company I placed my order through. Mark who is the owner explained this happens quite regularly that people confuse the two businesses.

I then asked if I could place an order for the 15th since it was so late in the day. Mark asked if I would like delivery that same night of the 14th instead. Of course I accepted - and he personally hand delivered himself the most beautiful flower arrangement I've ever received. My wife was ecstatic. He made the delivery 45 minutes after me making the phone call, during the busiest day of the year for florists.

He did not take advantage of me on cost. He wouldn't accept gratuity. And he gave me free delivery fees given my circumstance.

I could not be more thankful for Mark and the staff of Blossoms and Botanicals in San Mateo for literally saving Valentine's Day for me and my family.

Customer service like this simply does not exist anymore. Truly genuinely good people with a great product and top notch service. 10/10 would recommend.

The work Regina and her staff did for our wedding left me in awe, especially since we had to scrap our arch design and pivot to pieces onto wine barrels due to the unexpected weather. From beginning to end, Regina understood my vision and beyond delivered! I loved and valued her in-depth knowledge about florals--what works and what didn't work, availability of in-season florals, etc. I also seriously cannot thank Regina enough for her adaptability when the stress was on a unparalleled high having to rework some major planning of our wedding because of the weather. Seeing photos of the gorgeous pieces she created continues to bring me as much joy as when I first saw them on our wedding day. I literally wish I were able to keep the center pieces and bouquets forever.

Alex from Blossoms was amazing and helped me with exactly what I needed. A couple months ago, I was looking for a beautiful display of flowers to surprise my girlfriend with for our anniversary.

I was working near Blossoms, so I decided to walk in. I went in with very little knowledge of how to pick out the right combination of flowers that would result in an aesthetically pleasing result. But I gave Alex some very general details of what I was looking for, and he delivered.

The customer service I received was warm, friendly, and timely. I was blown away by how pretty the bouquet of flowers they made for me was. And most importantly - my girlfriend loved them.

Forget FTD and 1-800 Flowers. They take your order and low-ball a local florist to assemble it and deliver it. The difference is their profit. Deal directly with a local outfit like Blossoms, who will answer the phone in person when you call. I asked for a "custom bouquet" in red and white, gave the price ($100 in this case), and let them do the rest. My wife was very happy with it. To save some money, get the bouquet without a vase and put the flowers in your own vase, following the directions sent with the bouquet.

Best flower shop. I visit at least once a week to get flowrs by stem. Lots of options to pick from by stems and they also have their bouquets / vases in good prices prearranged to pick up right away. My husband got the propose flower for me which was awesome as well.

Regina helped me decorate the boat for my proposal. We all love her flower design and the proposal went well. She is very friendly and easy to communicate with. Highly recommend!
