I recently went here with my girlfriend to celebrate her 30th birthday. I cannot express how much joy these cows brought to us. We were able to schedule a private tour on the farm and the owners were happy to answer all our questions with the time we spent there.

The property is beautiful and the cows were interactive what more can you ask for! If you have the time to schedule for a tour or attend one of their events that they host periodically. I highly recommend it!

Paint with the cows was so wonderful! Had an amazing time, the cows are cute as can be and the property is too die for. Even if you don't know how to paint, Jess (the artist) is so easy to follow so it's really a fun experience and not overwhelming. The owners are so nice and personable, a must try!

Absolutely gorgeous spot. You can really tell the owners take pride in their farm and animals. It’s beautifully decorated and a great spot for a family picnic. The owner is very knowledgeable and super friendly. The owner of the farm also does painting opportunities with the calves, it’s truly a one of a kind experience that you don’t want to miss.

I encourage you to like their Facebook page and arrange for a painting day! It’s super clean, they have parking and it’s not far from Ocala. A true farm experience!

I went today 12/28/2024 l, this was the best day ever the owner was so nice she let me just come and let me pet them. I would recommend coming to one of her events. I'm so In Love with highland cows this was a dream come true.

I can't be happier with the purchase my first Highlander through Big Oaks Mini Farm. Brandie has been such a huge help. She had all paperwork and instructions ready for us. Her Highlanders are truly cute and well bred. Pick-Up was smooth and easy. I do recommend that everyone gives her a call before jumping into a purchase. Her insights and knowledge is great to hear and very valuable.

If I could give 10 stars I would! I am so blessed that I stumbled upon Brandie and her farm while looking to purchase a mini highland. Brandie stayed in constant communication and sent updates on how Harmony was doing until she was ready to come home!

Amazing Experience. After losing money and being scammed by an online mini highland cow seller in Montana I was about to give up. I had never actually seen any in person so I was so happy to hear the owner of Big Oak Mini Farm say, “you need to come by and take a look at them so you can see the parents of the calfs I currently have. It is super important to know more about them. Ask me whatever you want.” I am so incredibly grateful for making this experience so special. Daisy was actually born 1 day before my birthday. So, I knew she was the one!!!
