Before I get started on our story, I want to say that working with Bevess Floral was amazing and their flowers were incredible!

I got married on Sept. 28 and met with Bertha in April. My husband and I wanted “tropical” flowers for our wedding since we love visiting Costa Rica but we knew it was going to be super expensive. We got married in Gualala and asked a florist there what she could do for tropical flowers: she quoted us 10k for bud vases (omg). We did not go with that individual.
When I typed in “tropical flowers Santa Rosa,” Bevess florist popped up and so I reached out to see if they could make my vision come true. I scheduled an appointment to meet with Bertha and Tanya right away.

My husband and I went to visit them in person and right away we were met with smiles and laughter. Their location is kind of a “hole in the wall” so I admit we had some reservations. But when Bertha walked out with some sample flowers, we were convinced! Now English is her second language but since we are learning Spanish, it was fun to practice! After agreeing to do work with them, Bertha gave us the sample center piece for free (what)!

A few months go by and I’ve communicated what I am looking for: 6 center pieces, 2 pieces for the arbor, 3 cocktail pieces, 4 bouquets, 5 boutonnieres, and 2 corsages. ALL FOR A REASONABLE PRICE! They worked with our budget and I can tell you it was a LOT LESS than 10k. We were so surprised how affordable it was to get that many pieces with tropical style flowers! The flowers included: bird of paradise (heliconia), ginger, orchids, anthurium, lilies, and even roses. Just take a look at the pictures and you can see how gobsmacked I was when I first saw these beautiful pieces!

We decided to pick up the flowers ourselves and bring them up the coast to Gualala so Bertha and her team were kind enough to show us how to install the arbor flowers as well as did their best to make sure they were as beautiful as the day they were put together. We picked up Friday morning for an afternoon wedding the day after. The flowers were incredible.

I really can’t express how amazing Bevess Florist is and how reasonably priced they are. Bertha and Tanya were great to work with, even with the language barrier, and seemed so genuinely excited to create our vision. They made our wedding so magical and it truly felt like we were in the jungles of Costa Rica. I can’t recommend them highly enough. MUCHAS GRACIAS!

ORDER WRONG
On May 2, I ordered three small arrangements in vases for $59.99 each since we were picking them up. My business credit card statement shows a charge of $196.62 on May 3. (What business charges a card BEFORE services are rendered?) On May 13, Maria knew that my staff member was going to pick up the flowers around 10 AM but she called to confirm because they were going to leave to make deliveries and NO ONE would be in the shop. When my two staff members picked up the flowers (on time), they thought that maybe I had changed the order. They had to ask for the bunches of flowers to be wrapped in plastic and Maria told them that my order wasn't paid. My dental staff delivered the bunches of flowers to 3 of our referring dental offices. The arrangements were to be displayed on their front desk counter but unfortunately the order wasn't correct.
I contacted Bevess Floral the next day (today). Maria acknowledged her mistake. She said that she would have picked up the flowers and replaced them. WHO WOULD TAKE BACK A GIFT! Maria offered me a discount on my next order but I don't plan to ever order flowers from them again. The owner, Tanya, refused to talk to me. They would not refund me my requested 50% off ($98) for getting the order wrong. Maria said that I could contact my bank to fight the $196.62 charge.

Absolutely beautiful! Ordered the Awesome Anniversary arrangement for my mom and it looked like the picture and every flower opened. Also delivered within a couple hours of ordering online. I’ve used Bevess multiple times and am always happy. They even took the time to contact me direct and make sure an arrangement I sent during Christmas was satisfactory-what service! I would definitely recommend Bevess floral to others and will continue to use them in the future.

I wanted to send my daughter flowers for NATIONAL DAUGHTER DAY and found this florist online at the last minute. They had no problem delivering the arrangement to her that day before a set time frame and I couldn't have made the arrangement of various flowers any better if I had hand picked them myself. I'm extremely happy with the overall service I received:)

Unfortunately I can't speak for the service, but I can speak about the customer service. I had an appointment over the phone and they forgot. It's okay, it happens. Then I rescheduled for another phone visit and I was never contacted and when I tired to call, I never got through to anyone. I'm sure they are great, but I unfortunately didnt get to experience that. Make sure to make an in person appointment to contact them.
