Fish fry is good here - those are pomfret fish. And chicken dum and button dum biryani are good here. These are the usual meal I do take when I make to this location. Also I like uttapam and sambar are good too. I have tried tender coconut payasam, it was more like a drink. Dint felt so much like payasam. Cauliflower fry is also good. Baby corn Manchurian is good and tried paneer noodle which was okay too.

We wanted the South Indian Thali meals but they were not available. They had stopped serving the Thali meals to our disappointment. So we had to order Ala Carte. We ordered all our dishes as mildly spicy but phew, the food was way too spicy for me to handle. I can’t imagine their higher levels of spiciness, lol. Their dessert Rava Kesari didn’t meet my expectations, the Malabar parottas were very greasy. Wouldn’t recommend the vegetarian biriyani at all.

The service was fast. Very friendly staff.
Ambiance was good. The washrooms didn’t have paper napkins. They had dryers only. I didn’t like to be touching the door handles after washing my hands. Their dishes were pricey, got a big bill compared to other places. Overall experience was just okay.

Every dish here is delicious. We had fried anchovies, chicken tandoori, goat biryani, goat pepper curry - best curry i ever had, malabar parotta (bread) - best dipping in the curry & an unusual drink-Nannari Sarbath (drink). Worth the visit. I would come back here again to try to other dishes. The restaurant had lots of parking, great atmosphere and excellent service. Thank you guys. We loved the experience.

I had the opportunity to dine at Anjappar recently and I’d like to share my thoughts about the experience. I ordered a variety of dishes including mutton bone soup, goat chukka varuval, goat biryani, and natukozhli biryani.

Let me start with the positives – the mutton bone soup was a delightful beginning to the meal. Its rich, hearty flavor instantly warmed me up. The goat chukka varuval was a burst of flavors and spices that truly delighted my taste buds. Equally impressive was the goat biryani, with tender meat and flavor.

However, the natukozhli biryani was a bit of a letdown. It seemed like a departure from the other wonderful dishes I had. The rice was some veg biryani rice and the fried chicken pieces seemed to dominate, but the true essence of a biryani was missing.

Overall, my experience at Anjappar was a mix of highs and lows. While the natukozhli biryani didn’t meet expectations, the mutton bone soup, goat chukka varuval, and goat biryani more than made up for it. I believe there’s potential for an even better dining experience if the restaurant refines their offerings. It’s a place worth revisiting for those standout dishes that make every meal special.
