Excellent customer service and knowledgeable staff. My first visit here will certainly not be my last. They also have a good selection of mowers, both push, standon, and z-turn in stock as well as smaller engine equipment. I would recommend this business to friends and family.

I brought my Honda lawnmower, recently in Chico Power Equipment to get the carburetor cleaned because of bad gas and sat for the winter. They got it done within two days, they also power washed my lawn mower. They fixed the problem within the national average cost to repair and clean carburetor on a lawnmower. I would recommend and will come back when I need any more maintenance.

Unfortunately we are unable to make appointments any longer for simple maintenance. Drop it off and we may get to it in a week or a month. Not trying hard enough so we’ll find an alternative shop. Learning how to service our equipment ourselves seems to be the answer. Servicing the customer who purchased from us is not the priority. Sad but true. After looking at other reviews, seems this used to be a good shop but lately many are very unhappy with service/attitude/price. Will definitely stop doing business here for anything. Being treated so badly after purchasing mowers, generators, tools, yard vacs, and more. This outfit has a lot to learn….and after being in business for as long as they have been, not sure they are interested in learning or anything other than sales. You’ve lost my business both sales and service. Best of luck! 🤷‍♂️
Update: called Industrial Power Products on Park Ave. Super nice, friendly and they WILL put you on a list for repairs and call a day or two in advance so we don’t have to be without our equipment for a month or more. Even said they could figure out how to service quicker if an emergency. Highly recommend IPP.

I went in today to purchase a new tool for the job. The staff was very helpful in assisting with selecting out the proper tool for my needs.
When I decided on what I was going to purchase they took it in the back filled it with fuel and Bar Oil and test ran it to make sure everything was just right. This is not the first time I've shopped there and it's always been the same courteous assistance.

go in with extreme caution because repairs are definitely a major profit center for them. If you are going in for a repair, it will be conducted in their best interest, not yours. They get 2 stars b/c they posses high technical skills. But what good are high skills when they see you as an opportunity, not a patron?

Terrible service and rude attitudes; I stopped coming here years ago. Never would have wrote a reveiw but recently my father in law called and helped set up a generator purchase and the guy working there lied on the phone and said it was a 50 amp only to show up and find a 30 amp generator. Guy said it was our mistake but they were just trying to push product and even gave me flack about refunding the deposit at first. They did do a full refund that day but the guy working there was just slimy.

We have bought several items from them. Their customer service is great! We were in today in need of wheels for a very old Honda mower. They helped us figure out which wheels would actually work without spending a ton of money.
