La comida deliciosa y el lugar super limpio, le pongo 4 estrellas por que NO LE DAN LA PROPINA A LAS MESERAS, se las queda la dueña y eso no me gusto,no es justo.

I been a regular customer of this restaurant for over a decade but unfortunately it’s clear things have changed.. and not for the better! While the food has always been decent, customer service was consistently been an issue with long waits and significant delays in getting orders.

What’s worse is the drastic price hikes over the past couple of years. A dosa now costs $20!! and an appetizer (idly) is $15!! To put this into perspective, we spent $40+ on just one appetizer and a single main dish—no drinks, no dessert and definitely not a full meal for two. This was meant to be a light dinner for two not so hungry people but the bill felt more like fine dining at a casual restaurant.

On top of that the taste isn’t what it used to be. While it’s not bad, it no longer carries the high quality flavor that initially kept me coming back. It’s disappointing to see this place go downhill. At these prices, I much rather take my business to Rajdhani where the food is great and the value feels justified!

I’ve visited this restaurant more times than I can count and have never been disappointed with their food. Located in a plaza, there are parking spots available, though during weekends or busy hours, it fills up quickly.

The restaurant is on the smaller side, with a decent seating capacity, but it fills up fast on weekends, leading to longer wait times. The service staff is friendly, but during peak times, the service can feel slow or inattentive.

As the name suggests, this place is great for trying dosa. The dosas are thick, the portions are huge (easily enough for one person), and the prices are affordable. The taste is exemplary. They’re known for their large portions, and while their biryani is good, we usually stick with their dosas. Be careful not to underestimate the portion size—I’ve seen people order multiple dishes only to realize it’s more than enough to share. Their mutton keema curry dosa is a standout, with the keema packed full of flavor.

If you’re in the area or looking for a spot with good, filling food, this place is worth a visit—just be prepared for potential wait times and slower service during busy periods.

For years I thought no restaurant comes close to the quality and consistency (of GREAT food, each time) of Rajdhani. Until today.. Podi Dosa is AMAZING.. and is on the same level as Rajdhani for authenticity, taste and feel good energy (unfortunately, also the wait to be seated! Lol)

The portions are massive.. so don’t make the mistake we did and order four entrees for two people..

The variety.. and selection.. NEXT LEVEL. From classic South Indian to a bit of North Indian twist.. to Indo-Chinese.. and an entire menu just for desserts too. No idea how they’re able to offer such a wide selection!

The chana bhatura was OUTSTANDING. The best we’ve had in the states.. not even close. The bhatura was made the traditional way.. with cilantro and mehti kneaded into the flour.. perfectly crisped.. the chole or chana were so so tasty! So flavorful.. so rich.. and with sliced onions laden on top.. incredible!!

Not the biggest fan of idli but found the idlis here really tasty! Love that they give you an entire tray of all the chutneys so you’re able to thoroughly enjoy the sambar (which is OUTSTANDING), dosas, idlies etc without worrying about conserving a tiny bit of chutney

Btw the chai is soooo good!!!

For how busy they are, the service is great. Really kind, patient staff

Excited to be back.. many many times!!!

Authentic South Indian Flavors That Transport You to India!

This South Indian restaurant is an absolute delight for anyone craving authentic flavors straight from India. Their idli, dosa, and vada varieties are nothing short of amazing—soft, crispy, and perfectly made. What sets this place apart is the variety of podis (spice powders) they offer as add-ons, which elevate every bite with an explosion of traditional flavors.

The food tastes like it was made in a home kitchen in India, bringing a wave of nostalgia with every dish. The ambiance is simple and welcoming, and the service is friendly and efficient. Whether you’re a fan of classic masala dosa or adventurous with different podi combinations, this spot is a must-visit for South Indian food lovers. Highly recommended!

Let me know if you’d like me to adjust the tone or content further!

Breakfast at Podi is special. They have a separate breakfast menu definitely deserves a visit.

We had Idly, served with delicious spread of chutneys. I recommend all of them - the coconut one, the peanut one as well as the tomato and the spicy one.

Their Sambhar, Masala tea, the Andhra Style Dosa and the Spicy omelette were also good. The latter were a bit spicy for us and hence recommend you order based on your tolerance for spicy ?️!

Washed it off with their filter coffee which was authentic. As usual, their portion sizes are large and sharing recommend if you want to try a variety of dishes.

We got so tempted by their offerings that we got a take away for dinner for their Indian Chinese - Veggie Fried Rice, Veg Manchurian and noodles the next day.

Will definitely visit again to try other dishes too!

Have visited Podi Dosa for dinner along with friends family while returning from Universal Studios. Booked for 8 people and waiting time was just 15 minutes. We ordered chicken kothu poratta, podi dosa, masala podi dosa, gee podi dosa and cheese onion dosa. Vera level dosas and traste. 1 order was great for 2 people and price is okay for two. Chicken kothu was also very good, we enjoyed our dinner. 5-6 varieties of chutneys served along with sambar. Great food, we liked it

First and foremost, you came here for authentic Indian cuisine! This place is on a par all it’s on. The foods here are seasoned to perfection. There are great Indian restaurants here but this one is superb when it comes to taste.
Please note that all foods here are authentic and cooked true to the last spice so don’t come here thinking you can change the heat like other places. This little tidbit is one of the things that makes it so amazing. It’s the unwillingness to compromise the true flavor of the dishes.
Also I read a few negative reviews here which complains about time, well my friends this is not Indian fast food! Each dish is made fresh from start to finish which is why this place is always packed. Dosas take time! Perfection takes time ?.
Now the food. I didn’t order my typical smorgasbord of entrees this time. I only stuck to my favorites. Two orders of Amaravathi Gobi, fish 65 wet, wada, and bhatura. Amaravathi Gobi is one of the best things your taste buds could ever behold. The crispness and bursts of flavors are second to none. Do yourself a favor and treat yourself to this amazing dish!!! Then we have Fish 65 wet which is seasoned too perfection as well . Perfectly spicy and cooked with a level of juiciness that makes this fish dish one of the tastiest. Next we have the Wada and bhatura and they are both just extremely tasty. Both of these dishes elsewhere can seem a little on the boring side elsewhere, but not here! They are both bursting with flavor which almost make them seem like a different dish.
